抄録	研究成果の概要 (和文) : 本研究は、現代都市再開発期における社会周縁層の空間的滞留と社会的排除との<社会－空間の動態的連関>を国際比較分析によって明らかにすることを目的とした。分析対象である社会周縁層について、本研究では、（１）国内都市部の非正規雇用ならびに失業者へのインテンシブなフィールドワーク調査、（２）米国非正規滞在移民への現地労働追跡調査、（３）社会周縁層を対象にしている国際的な社会学者との比較分析を計画的に実施した。 具体的には、①社会政策過程分析―新自由主義国家の社会福祉政策と空間隔離の施策、②都市空間分析―「ジェントリフィケーション」、③労働・生活世界分析―リフレクシブフィールドワークの分析を行った。
	研究成果の概要 (英文) : In focusing on the urban redevelopment process, the purpose of this study analyzes the <socio-spatial> dynamic relationships between spatial segregation and social exclusion of the advanced marginality. It discusses the characteristics and trends of residential segregation and contingent workers in Japan and United States. This study shows the results in the field and the policies that could control spatial segregation and social exclusion. The raw materials, which conducting by the intensive field research, emphasizes the fact that segregation is a complex phenomenon with some positive and negatives dimensions from the perspective of the social policies and everyday lives, as it could help improve their targeting and efficiency.
