抄録	研究成果の概要 (和文) : 本研究では、律令国家最北の支配拠点である秋田城の性格をまず明らかにし、その秋田城による北方支配や北方世界との交流が、具体的にどのようなもので、どこまで及んだのか、またその一方で北方世界内部のみの、秋田城支配と関わらない交流がどのようなものであったかを検討した。それによれば、秋田城の北方支配は意外に限定的で、北の領域では北の論理に基づく主体的な流通が優勢であったことが明らかになった。一方秋田城の性格については、文献史料の解釈からは非国府説、出土文字資料の解釈からは国府説が有利であることを確認した。最終的結論は今後の課題としてなお検討を続けたい。
	研究成果の概要 (英文) : We examined the characteristics of Akitajo, which is the northern rule base of the nation under the Ritsuryo Codes; after that we discussed actual state and influence of the rule for or communication with the northern area and considered commerce which was conducted only inside of the northern world being independent from Akitajo. By this study, we elucidated that the rule for northern area by Akitajo was, contrary to general expectation, limited and subjective commerce based on the logic of the northern world was superior to that of Akitajo. On Akitajo, we showed that it would be not a Kokufu by an interpretation of historical documents and might be a Kokufu as a result of deciphering of unearthed materials. We will continue to examine this subject to come to a conclusion.
