抄録	研究成果の概要 (和文) : 本研究の成果は、(1)「NetCommons」による文化探究学習の有効性を検証し、(2) 文化探究学習理論を活用した「異文化理解」に国連やユネスコによる「メディア情報リテラシー教育」に関する最新理論を融合した教材の作成とその実践を行ないつつ、（3）日本及びアメリカ、カンボジア、中国の初等・中等・高等教育レベルの学校・大学との ICT を活用した協働的な文化交流学習の有効性を実証したことである。本研究の総括として、国際シンポジウム「文化葛藤時代のメディア・リテラシー教育―国連『文明の同盟』と日本の実践・課題」を開催した。
抄録	研究成果の概要 (英文) : The results of this study are: (1) to have determined the effectiveness of international cultural inquiry-based learning by using the "NetCommons"; (2) to have created teaching material that united "intercultural understanding", applying the theory of international cultural inquiry-based learning with the latest theory of "media information literacy education" developed and used by UN and UNESCO; and (3) to have proven the effectiveness of ICT supported collaborative inter-cultural exchange program in Japan, the United States, Cambodia and China' s primary and middle schools, and universities. International symposium "Media Literacy Education in Cultural Conflict Age - Practice and Challenges of the United Nations 'Alliance of the Civilization' and Japan" was held in the final fiscal year.
